(hehehe I love saying that. I’ve been telling everyone that I’ll see them next year etc etc :P)
I had high hopes for 2011 but it wasn’t as crash-hot as I had anticipated. I did however get to cross a few things of my bucket list & experience some pretty awesome things and despite all the bad things that happened I am quite thankful for 2011.
For me, I had my first year of uni & I made a few new friends. I drove my dream car for the first time. It was amazing and makes me want it MORE. I became so much closer with the people I work with. They had my back when things were getting rough and it made me look forward to walk into work. I witnessed my favourite song live. It was riveting. I drove to Sydney for the first time ever. Then I drove over the Sydney Harbour Bridge for the first time too. I can cross that one off my bucket list.
But 31st December is a date I never look forward too. More often than not, despite my plans and best efforts, something goes wrong and I end up spending this date alone and quite upset. So for tomorrow night I’m putting everyone’s emotions and opinions aside & doing what I think will make me happy.
